This year which in a few days is about to become another page of history has been very symbolic to all of us - we have celebrated a 10-year anniversary of this long path to implement RECP in Ukrainian industries. Our mission and efforts were not easy, but time has shown they proved to be fruilful.We have learnt that nothing happens if nothing is done.

The information workshop “Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Implementation in Ukraine: Best Practice” is going to happen on November 7, 2017, within the framework of V International Trade Fair INDUSTRIAL ECOLOGY '2017.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
– Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP): principles and practice;
– Implementing low-cost options: best practices domestic and foreign;
– Innovations in RECP technical options elaboration.
We invite company management, environmental and power engineers, engineers working in industry, technical university teachers to actively participate in the event.
V International Trade Fair INDUSTRIAL ECOLOGY is aimed at introducing and implementing into production the latest and newest scientific and technical environmental achievements in order to ensure the environmental safety.

2-day trainings on ventilation systems optimization are going to be conducted by certified specialists of RECP Centre in September 2017.
Course designed for professionals or consultants who plan to work in subdivisions of Ukrainian enterprises; representatives of consulting companies in the field of ventilation systems; representatives of enterprises whose activities are related to the installation and maintenance of ventilation systems; designers, installers of ventilation systems.
Environmental education is an essential step towards sustainable development as it raises awareness of society about environmental problems and provides skills for taking the necessary actions. Thus in the framework of the demonstration RECP project as a component of EaP GREEN Programme, funded by EU, the set of lectures on Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production is developing. It contains theoretical and practical training materials on the basic principles and approaches of RECP methodology, developed by UNEP and UNIDO as comprehensive preventive environmental strategy to manufacturing processes, products and services to increase efficiency and reduce risks to humans and environment.
The set of lectures on RECP is supposed to be used as a basis of the training course in respective universities’ syllabuses and study programs of other educational institutions. With this set the lecturers of educational institutions will be enabled to develop their own course on RECP for students of technical and environmental departments. It is aimed to develop the national cadre potential for further provision of sustainable industrial consumption and production and acceleration of the country’s transition to the green economy.
The workshop “Resource efficient and cleaner production learning course for national higher education institutions” is planned to be conducted on 18th of May 2017 at Aarhus Information and Educational Centre under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine. On December 14, 2016 the Conference “Implementation of Resource and Cleaner Production in Ukraine” will take place in Kyiv.
