Seminar “Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production as an instrument of competitiveness increase of industrial enterprises in Kharkiv region”

The seminar “Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production as an instrument of competitiveness increase of industrial enterprises in Kharkiv region” took place on 29th of September 2015 in a building of Kharkiv Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration attached to the Office of the President of Ukraine at the presentation. The organizers of the seminar were: Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre, Department of increase the competitiveness of region of Kharkiv regional state administration and Kharkiv Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration attached to the Office of the President of Ukraine at the presentation.

The presentation began with the introduction speech of Belova Ludmyla Oleksandrivna – Head of Kharkiv Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration attached to the Office of the President of Ukraine, also Denys Tkachov, First Deputy of Department of increase the competitiveness of region of Kharkiv regional state administration held the greeting word. Igor Shilovych, Head of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre, told about UNIDO activities in Ukraine: experience and main achievements of Cleaner Production Center in field of enterprise’s resource efficiency increase in Ukraine. Mariia Tsybka, National coordinator of Demonstration project under «EaP GREEN» program in Ukraine, made a presentation about implementation of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Demonstration project within the framework of EaP GREEN program in Ukraine. Ivan Omelchuk, curator of RECP Clubs in Ukraine, made the participants acquainted with practical and methodological aspects of conception of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Clubs in Ukraine.

In the second part of seminar there was conducted a survey, as a result of which, the some participants would like to join «Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Club» in Kharkiv region.

As a result of the seminar there was adjusted a high level of communication between state organs, representatives of small and middle enterprises and project (EAP GREEN), were selected the potential participants for Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Club in Kharkiv region, developed strategy of general actions and calendar plan of the following meetings.
