The 2nd workshop seminar in Chernihiv

The second module of RECP approach was delivered to Chernihiv RECP Club on October 22, 2015. The meeting was devoted to the study of energy efficiency issues in the enterprise. The event was held in building of regional state administration of Chernihiv region. The training was attended enterprises, representatives of state administration and RECP Centre.

The start of the training included a restudy of the ecological profile of company and discussion of problems that associated with the filling of self-assessment tool. Common questions were:

- The cost of energy resources at the study period and at this moment are different;

- The currency change is not considered;

- There is an error between the estimated and actual data.

After a discussion of these issues, the participants acquainted with the presentation devoted to the topic of energy efficiency in the enterprise. During the presentation, it was examined the following questions:

- Global perspectives of energy market;

- Risks for business due to inefficient energy consumption;

- Benefits for business by introducing of RECP approach;

- The main types of energy losses at the enterprise;

- Possible options to improve energy efficiency of enterprise.

After the presentation, all the Club members were able to get expert advice from the Director of the RECP Centre Igor Shylovych. The following discussion considered the technical questions from each enterprise.

Then, the training was interrupted by a coffee break during which participants exchanged contacts and discussed the information collected during the first part of workshop. The second part of training was devoted to practical tasks.
