From 2007 to 2011 years. in the framework of the pilot project and based on the UNIDO methodology, the Center has been actively involved in the implementation of activities on Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production 20 Ukrainian companies.

After this work were developed and implemented engineering and technological solutions to reduce:

• electricity consumption of more than 2,000 MW/h
• water consumption by more than 90 000 m³
• Natural gas consumption by more than 16 mln m³
• CO2 emissions by more than 36 thousand tons per year

Thanks to the introduction of low-cost or no-cost solutions and measures the total amount of savings the companies reached an equivalent of about 1.7 mln UAH per year.

Since 2012, another 20 companies in Vinnytsa, Zaporozhzhia, Odesa and Kyiv regions were involved in the work with UNIDO's methodology. In total, from 2007 to early 2014 the Center works closely with the 50 Ukrainian companies, including leading companies in the production of wood products, manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products, machinery and equipment, food production, etc. The experience of Center showed that successful work at the company level requires constant development and continuous совершенствованиявнутренних processes, serious study and optimization of the cost structure of the companies, as well as the introduction of new technologies and innovative ideas.
